Delaware Christian Resource Center is hosting a 7 week long Christian summer camp program (VBS) that has a general purpose of enhancing social and communication skills and also educating through daily academic tutoring and bible stories. The age range currently being accepted is 5-14. Activities are strategically planned for specific ages and break off groups.

Enhancement will be victorious through indoor and outdoor activities and exercise, social enrichment through group projects, discussions, and team sports; exploration through arts, crafts, horticulture and field trips.

Academic Tutoring is offered every day as preparation for returning back to school in the fall. It serves as a daily refresher and helps with the transitional period of entering a new grade.

Bible discussion is also offered on a daily basis. The stories and discussions are built to help children make decisions and deal with the everyday challenges and benefits of life. Broken into age groups, the children are given the opportunity to ask questions and speak openly on a daily basis.

The Summer Kids Enrichment Program operates daily from 8 am -5:30 pm with lunch and snack provided. Academic Tutoring and Bible discussion is offered from 2pm – 4pm, there is an additional fee of $15 per week for this service.

If you require transportation, there is one bus stop in a central location in each of these cities; Bear, Middletown, Wilmington and New Castle, there is an additional fee of $20 per week for this service.

Our themes are not just educational but extremely fun! They all require a lot of interaction, communication, and set a foundation under Christ to respect, love, and cherish relationships. Our program does not focus on religion; it focuses on building relationships and enhancing skills.

Our Homework help program is free to all members and is available daily on a walk-in basis. This includes test prep, which helps to relieve the ‘fear’ of quizzes and test taking. This program, like all of our programs, focus on personal growth and self development.  Although the homework help room is not set up for one on one tutoring, each student is still given the individual attention they need when seeking assistance.

Our team of qualified and enthusiastic tutors come from a variety of areas of expertise. All Tutors undergo a screening process of interviews, references and background checks.
